Justin? Are you out there? What's up with you? How about a year-end report?

Kate and I have nothing to say that isn't already in our other blogs, but you remain a mystery. =)

Did you hear??? Barenaked Ladies are going to have their own tv show! It's gonna be a variety show (I guess a little like Sonny & Cher, except not as cheesy) on Fox. Should be interesting.

An article about it for your reading pleasure

Hmm...my turn to contribute, I guess. I'm not sure I can beat my insightful polka dots post. Well, this one will be pure nostalgia. As I mentioned today in my other blog, Noah & I went to the Cal game. It brought back sooo many memories. We reminisced about the people we knew from the dorms, we recalled exciting Ghiradelli Square trips from frosh year, and we marveled at how quickly time has passed. I can't believe that it's been SIX years since we started at Cal.

All this thinking back has me wondering where each of us will be in six years. It seems like a long time from now (We'll be 30!), but it also seems like yesterday that I was just arriving at UC Berkeley for move-in day. In six years, will we still be in touch, where will we all be living, how many weddings will I have attended?

Life passes so quickly, and as Noah said, "all we can do is try not to have any regrets."

Family Wagon

During my trip from Napa to LA, I saw a Family Wagon. Not the original Family Wagon of Justin fame, since this one was pink and grey. Unless the original has undergone a paint job....

But it reminded me TWFL (hehe, poor Kami!) and the good old days of undergrad. Sometimes it makes me sad that things will never be the same again, no more dorms, no more Berkeley.

Then I remember my transport class. And life is good.

You know Justin - I have to agree with you about the spellchecker. A function of Blogger should at least recognize "blog" as correctly spelled. It seems my family lives around someone's neck, Justin should change his name, I miss more about Berkeley than I remembered, and the spellchecker has correctly identified its function as splicing instead of fixing. Just for fun, here's what the spellchecker suggested for the entry above.

But it reminded me TOEFL (he, poor Kahn!) and the good old days of undergrad. Sometimes it makes me sad that things will never be the same again, no more drums, no more Berkeley.

Then I remember my transport class. And life is good.

You know Justine - I have to agree with you about the splices. A function of blocker should at least recognize "bloc" as correctly spelled.

Did I ever mention that polka dots make me laugh? So this site makes me very happy.

Once, when I was a kid, my dad bought my mom a dress with polka dots that were really big at the top and the bottom and got progressively smaller towards the middle. It was the most hilarious dress ever...

And what do the dots have to do with polka?

I stop checking the site for a few weeks and look what happens....someone goes and posts this big long entry, changes the format.

You know, just because you remembered your password...

I'm not sure where I'm going with this.  I do like the new template though :)

And remember, 70% of all people think they're above average.  It's nice to be part of that 20% minority :)  I wonder if I can get a fellowship for that....

Ooh, I like the new template! Good choice. Does this mean we're actually posting here again? For real? Should I link to this site on my blog?

Justin mentioned having a new laissez faire attitude about career stuff. I've recently taken up a similar philosophy. I have some major reservations about applying to law school--actually, it's not law school that worries me; it's being a lawyer. But I know that law school seems really interesting, so I figure that I've just got to decide what works for me right now and worry about the future when it comes. Besides, did you know that the average person changes careers 7 times? And I've always considered myself above average, so....
